Scheduling, Pre-Trial Conference
Dear Sir/Miss:
I am the defendant in the referenced matter. I am self-represented and currently in custody at NFPC.
I respectfully request you schedule a brief appearance for myself and Crown Counsel Elliot Poll, at the earliest opportunity, so I may fix a date for a pre-trial conference. I realize there is already a PTC scheduled for 2022-11-18, however there are a number of critical issues relating to disclosure and witnesses which Mr. Poll has been less than cooperative in trying to resolve, and I believe these should be addressed ASAP so they do not delay the already unnecessarily delayed trial. I have made repeated requests of Mr. Poll to schedule a PTC sooner than 2022-11-18, to raise these issues (since he has direct access to the Registry and I don't) but he has steadfastly refused. Therefore, I am contacting you directly.
I believe a 10 minute appearance, for the purpose of informing the court that there are outstanding, critical issues that should be addressed ASAP and requesting a PTC be scheduled for the earliest opportunity, should be sufficient.
And, as I am in custody, I request you please arrange a video spring order for me.
Thank you.
Patrick Fox
