Dear Mr. Rankin:
I am forwarding you some more recent correspondence with the BCPS and David Eby.
The purpose of that correspondence is to generate an irrefutable record of my repeated and consistent good faith efforts to expose the corruption, misconduct, and injustice going on in the justice system and the steadfast efforts on the part of the justice system participants to prevent that. Remember: these correspondences are only part of the record – they must be considered along with my numerous, consistent statements made on the record in open court, demanding the public release and disclosure of all evidence and information relating to my cases; my many freedom of information requests – and, in particular, the BCPS's responses to those requests; and my very public demands, on the website, for complete openness and transparency related to my cases.
One thing I find interesting about this is that by refusing to cooperate they are, arguably, making themselves look much more suspicious if not outright guilty – particularly since I already possess, and have already published, most of the records anyway. They must know that I have the records because they know many of them are already on the desicapuano.com website, and they've even used that against me in court. So they have absolutely nothing to gain by refusing to disclose the requested material but plenty to lose in terms of credibility, public opinion, and public confidence in the administration of justice.
[On the matter of public opinion, I know that the overwhelming majority of your audience despises me and supports the government's efforts against me but you must keep in mind two things: 1) their opinions are based on the completely one-sided, extremely biased coverage and information CBC has been providing them; and 2) they make up a very particular demographic and a very, very tiny percentage of the overall population. Interestingly, most of your audience who have followed CBC's coverage of me and of the website have formed their opinions based solely on what CBC has told them and have never even been to the website. Of course, of the people who HAVE gone to the website after seeing the news coverage, most of them then agreed with me.]
