Conversation with IRCC [Patrick Fox; Yvette Brend (CBC News)]
Dear Miss Brend,
I am forwarding you a recording of a recent conversation I had with IRCC. You will notice, even though I am inadmissible to Canada due to my perjury conviction in the US and my criminal harassment conviction in Canada, and having committed passport fraud in the 1990s (though I never used that passport to enter Canada), they are still suggesting I apply for a permanent resident status. Personally, I find it amazing that they are so eager to NOT kick me out of Canada, or to even ask me to leave.
You will also notice, in the call, the agent, Michael, repeatedly put me on hold to "investigate further", and that after the last time he investigated, he acknowledged I do not have status in Canada. So, they acknowledge it - they know I'm not Ricky Riess from Ontario - and that I'm in the country illegally and that I'm barred from entering or remaining in the country based on my criminal convictions - yet still they refuse to ask/tell me to leave...in fact, they suggest applying for permanent residence!
I've removed, from the recording, the durations I was on hold, but if you wish I can forward you the entire call (so you know I'm not withholding anything).
Also, a few days ago I received the formal, written denial of my request for social assistance (remember, my probation officer, Brandon Cowan, had suggested I apply for it). In the denial, they cite my lack of status in Canada as the reason. The Ministry of Social Development had communicated with IRCC and determined I have no status in Canada - of course, I had openly told the case worker that right from the outset. I have to scan that document, then I can forward you that, as well.
I also have some recent emails between myself and Mark Myhre (Crown Counsel), which I believe you might find interesting. He is really trying desperately to rationalize his claim that he believes I'm a Canadian citizen. He, apparently, contacted Steve Riess (Ricky Riess's father) and Mr. Riess offered to provide a DNA sample to prove whether or not he is my father. I insisted Myhre take him up on that, but then Myhre claimed he spoke with someone named Mark Konrad at IRCC and that IRCC says as far as they're concerned I'm a Canadian citizen and, based on that Myhre doesn't see the point in proceeding with a DNA test. He's such a twit!
And finally, I am still working on the new website. It's taking a while because there is a lot of source material (transcripts, audio recordings, videos, et cetera) to go through and prepare for publishing.
Thanks for your time,
Patrick Fox
